A peaceful resting place for over 200 years

Oakland Community Cemetery was established in the 1800’s behind a small Baptist church on a dirt road now known as Old Norcross. It was established to provide a final resting place in what was called the Oakland Community. Today, many generations of Gwinnett County residents, can be found in several hundred plots on the cemetery grounds.

Oakland Community Cemetery is a place for quiet reflection for anyone coming to pay their respects to a loved one.
